If you wish to obtain a book, article, or audio visual from another library you may request the item through Interlibrary Loan.
Students at Anderson University also have borrowing privileges at the Anderson County Library, but you will need to register at the County Library for a Library Card.
Also, every academic library in SC will loan items to current students and faculty at any college in SC. Circulation rules will vary from library to library. See Pascal Delivers information for details.
Our general circulation policies are as follows:
All books are due at the end of the semester - on or around the last day of class. This is done to allow the library time to check in and reshelve the massive number of returned books before we lose our student workers.
If you wish to check out a book after the end of the semester due date for a class assignment, that's fine. Just explain your need to a librarian.
If you wish to check out a book over Christmas break, again, that's fine. Just explain your need to a librarian.
Anyone with a current Anderson University ID. Students, faculty and staff.
NOTE: A driver's license or photo ID will work IF the patron is already in the computer.
Alumni do not enjoy borrowing privileges.
Faculty Emeriti do.
