Nursing-Graduate: Annotated Bibliographies

Annotated Bibliography

An annotated bibliography is a list of resources (books, articles, videos).  After each resource citation is an annotation, or brief description with evaluative content, of the resource.

The annotation is intended to help the reader decide if that resource is worth reading, relevancy, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited.  Therefore, these should be included:

  • Summary
  • Brief description of author(s)
  • An assement of the content
  • A personal recommendation (not not) of worthiness
