Curriculum Builder - Canvas: Home

What is Curriculum Builder?

Curriculum Builder is a new feature of Canvas paid for by the Thrift Library. It allows you to quickly and easily upload library resources into Canvas and make reading / viewing lists.

It's Quick and Easy.

Avoids copyright issues by linking instead of copying.

Ensures that database statistics reflect actual usage - protecting your budget.

Tells you which students have read their assigned library materials and which students haven't.

How Does it Work?

Search your library’s content from within Canvas

Simply click “Add to Reading List” and your selections are saved

Annotate reading list items and copy other reading lists created at your institution.

What does it find?

  • Articles from Magazines, Newspapers, and Journals
  • Biographies
  • Primary Sources
  • Government Documents
