How can we decipher AI-generated texts?
Remember:
- Human cognition is incredibly complex! Generative AIs (GAI) don't think like humans.
- GAI does not fact-check the text it produces
- AI content detection tools are not 100% accurate and are thus unreliable.
- If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:5 NIV
Analyze the Content:
- Typos - grammatical mistakes, spelling errors
- Repetition of words or phrases
- Inaccurate content, unlikely scenarios, and/or lack of content about recent events
- Lack of personal experience or emotion; generalized experiences
- Lack of depth of thought
- Lack of variation of vocabulary or phrases
- Overly complex or unusual sentence structure
- Inconsistent tones and styles; tense changes
Verify the Source:
