The library services noted on this page are aimed specifically at Faculty.
For ALL library services, please see the Library Services Tab of the About the Library Research Guide.
Faculty can place materials on reserve for their classes in the library. For more information on our Reserve Policy, please see our webpage on the topic.
NOTE: Many articles formerly placed on reserve are now freely available to AU students through the library's databases. These can be easily linked to from Canvas or the library's Research Guides.
To assist Faculty in teaching students the citation methods of their disciplines, the Thrift Library has created a Citations Help page containing handouts covering a number of citation styles, APA, MLA, Chicago/Turabian, etc.
These handouts provide basic rules and practical citation examples. Style guide manuals are also available in the library for check out or for purchase in the Bookstore.
While many databases automatically generate citations in the format of your preference, students should be warned to always check these citations and correct any mistakes they find.
For more information, please visit our Citing Sources Research Guide.
