OneSearch: Tips and Tutorials

OneSearch combines the old Library Catalog with a new Discovery system. 

Now you can check to see what books you have checked out and renew them on the same platform you search for all the library's content - books, eBooks, articles, media, images, and more. Moreover you can expand your search to include 54 of South Carolina's college libraries - Clemson, USC, College of Charleston, etc. - and order books through PASCAL Delivers without ever leaving OneSearch.

Be sure to log in with your AU email name and password to enable full functionality.

FYI - While the new library platform is called Alma and its discovery tool is called Primo, we just call them OneSearch.

What is in OneSearch?

• 100,000 Physical Items - All the library's books, DVDs, and CDs.
• Another 12 million books located in SC college libraries for loan via PASCAL Delivers - 3 day delivery.
• Everything on Reserve.
• Digital Items - Half a million eBooks, millions of articles, several hundred thousand streaming audio and video.

What is NOT in OneSearch

•  OneSearch reveals citations and abstracts to MILLIONS of books and articles held by library's all across the nation. You may order these through Interlibrary Loan.
